** AquaDesign AMPHIBIAN SAFE 500ML Tap Water Conditioner** The AquaDesign AMPHIBIAN SAFE Tap Water Conditioner has garnered mixed feedback from customers primarily focused on its effectiveness for maintaining a safe aquatic environment for sensitive pets like axolotls, newts, frogs, and salamanders. Many users are pleased with its performance in helping to set up their tanks, with specific notes on how well it conditions hard water, making it safer for amphibians. Some reviewers have reported that it effectively keeps their pets happy and thriving, indicating that it contributes positively to their aquatic health. However, there are a few issues highlighted by users. While most found the product to be efficient, a recurring complaint involves a residue left at the bottom of their tanks after use, requiring additional cleaning. Moreover, one unfortunate account involved the death of an axolotl shortly after switching from a well-known competitor's product, raising concerns about its reliability for some users. There has also been negative feedback regarding the physical quality of the product, with reports of damaged vessels leading to leaks. Despite these issues, the majority of reviewers appreciate the chemical-free formulation and overall effectiveness of AquaDesign AMPHIBIAN SAFE, making it a noteworthy option for those looking to create a safe habitat for their aquatic pets. **
