The Berkey water filtration system is highly recommended by customers. It removes fluoride and other impurities, has long-lasting filters and can be used outside. The system filters water effectively and gives it a great taste. The manufacturer of the filters is New Millenium Concepts, and their support can be reached through their dealers. The system does not have any evidence to prove that it can prevent kidney stones or make the water more alkaline. The product is made in the United States. One caution is that there is a current class action lawsuit against the company that customers should be mindful of. Overall, the product is an excellent filter, well worth the investment.
