Pro-Ject Wireless Turntable Piano Black High Glossy VT-E BT R Piano Black

The Pro-Ject Wireless Turntable in Piano Black High Gloss VT-E BT has received a mixed reception from customers, reflecting both excitement for its design and functionality, along with significant frustration regarding quality control and customer service. Many users appreciate the aesthetic appeal and sound quality when the product functions correctly, highlighting the nostalgic experience of using a vertical turntable to play vinyl records. However, these positives are overshadowed by a pattern of complaints concerning fragile components, specifically the drive belt and tonearm tension spring, which are prone to damage and malfunctions. Customers have expressed disappointment when faced with issues such as irregular playback sounds reminiscent of a carnival ride, which detracts from their listening experience. While some reported receiving assistance from customer support—evidenced by a replacement part being sent free of charge—others experienced prolonged periods of silence after their attempts for help, leading them to feel abandoned. Many users who encountered initial problems ended up with non-functional units, leaving them dissatisfied, especially given the premium price point of the turntable. As a result, the perception of the Pro-Ject turntable is conflicted: it is cherished for its vintage look and potential for high-quality audio, but marred by reliability issues and inadequate customer service support. For Prospective buyers, the combination of high expectations and real-world performance raises questions about whether this turntable represents a worthwhile investment. **
